Remote Access


N4L’s Remote Access allows staff to remotely connect into school servers and work as if they are at school – from any location, as long as they have an internet connection.

Once connected remotely, staff can access any systems, software or file stored on their school’s internal networks, and working “live” in the same way they would if they were sitting in front of their school computer.

N4L’s Remote Access is fully funded as part of each school’s Managed Network connection package and training materials are available to support schools wanting to use Remote Access.

Whilst N4L’s Remote Access is available to all schools using the N4L Managed Network, it is schools that have their systems, software and files hosted on internal networks who will benefit from using it. Schools interested in using N4L’s Remote Access should contact the N4L Helpdesk.
