Learning beyond the school gate
N4L is piloting ways for ākonga to learn from home, with their whānau.
Around 145,000 students in Aotearoa are living without home internet access. N4L is working alongside the Ministry of Education, technology companies and community organisations to trial different ways to provide safe (filtered) connectivity beyond the school gate.
Hear from Te Akau ki Pāpāmoa and Rata Street schools as they talk about what these pilots mean for their school communities.
The pilots involve different technology and partnership models, and will help inform opportunities for a way forward.
