Governance
The Network for Learning Limited (N4L) was incorporated on 2 July 2012 under the Companies Act 1993. It is a Crown-owned Company, listed under Schedule 4A of the Public Finance Act 1989. The Company is subject to certain provisions of the Crown Entities Act 2004 (“CEA”), and to the Official Information Act 1982 and the Ombudsmen Act 1975. The Company’s day-to-day operations are primarily governed by the Companies Act regime.
N4L’s shareholding is 100% vested in the Crown. Its shareholders are the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Education in their capacities as Ministers, with each holding 50% of the issued share capital.
