On Friday 26 September between 5pm and 9pm, we’ll be performing an upgrade to our Auckland data centre core infrastructure. This work will not affect your school’s internet connectivity. 

What’s happening

  • Work will begin at 5pm with preparation for the upgrade
  • Our teams have conducted extensive testing, and we do not expect any disruption
  • School internet connectivity will remain unaffected
  • You may notice:
    • Intermittent access to the MyN4L application.
    • New devices attempting to connect to Wi-Fi during the cutover may experience a brief failure. This is expected and should resolve within a couple of minutes (seconds) once high availability (HA) services in our Christchurch data centre take effect.
    • Devices already connected will not be impacted.
