Update 13 Oct 2023: We’re nearing the end of the stock shortages that have caused significant delays to the Equipment Replacement rollout and supply issues for other programmes of work.

Indications from our supplier are that switch supply should start increasing towards the end of 2023. As such, we’re ramping up the number of Equipment Replacements we’re completing and have confirmed the schedule through to July 2024, contacting schools in the pipeline to let them know if their replacement will be before or after this.

It’s important to note this schedule can change according to the priority agreed with the Ministry of Education that school networks must continue to operate.

For Property projects / Capital Works & equipment only orders, we’re continuing to work closely with the Ministry and Netbridge to supply equipment for these project/orders until the shortages end, and some schools may receive refurbished, second-hand equipment through the Store and Forward service. As such, the Ministry is now the first point of contact for all property project/Capital Works and equipment only order enquiries – please email [email protected]. If you’ve already been through Equipment Replacement, N4L is your first point of contact for the above requests.

Please note that all other enquiries regarding network equipment, including SNUP Helpdesk and Equipment Support schools with broken or failed equipment, should come to N4L as per the existing processes – you can find more information here.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us on 0800 LEARNING.
