Friday 13 Jan 9.10am: Technicians are en route to the fault location to investigate with a current ETA of 8pm. Technicians have advised that there is no cell phone coverage in the location, and updates could be delayed.
Update 4.50pm: Technicians have identified the fibre cut however, due to health & safety concerns repair work is unable to be carried out this evening and will be readdressed tomorrow.
Original update: We’re aware of an outage impacting schools in the Gisborne area. We’ve had confirmation it’s a fibre cut – further updates will be provided as we have them to hand.
