We have been informed that the work carried out last night has been completed and connectivity restored.

There is currently a workaround in place which has temporarily restored internet access. Work is expected to take place overnight to rectify the fault. We will confirm once the work has been completed.

The issue has been confirmed as a fibre cut located south of Whangaehu, engineers are onsite with an expected ETR of 8pm this evening.

We are aware of an outage affecting schools between Roongotea and Wanganui. Chorus are currently investigating and we will provide further updates as we have them to hand.
