More visibility, more control with Email Protection and MyN4L
Now that MyN4L is available, which is our self-service platform built to help you manage your school’s online environment, the Email Protection tool is also available to MyN4L users. This allows schools using our Email Protection service to see their blocked emails in quarantine and safely release any legitimate ones to the correct recipients.
Email Protection provides an enhanced level of email security and added peace of mind. Any school, regardless of size, can be a potential target for email attacks and should have increased levels of protection in place. It’s fully funded for eligible schools by the Ministry of Education, and it works together with schools’ existing Microsoft or Google email services.Â
This case study shows the part Email Protection played in helping us support a school during a phishing attack. It’s simple to get Email Protection, just contact our Customer Support team at [email protected]. More information about MyN4L can be found here.Â
REMINDER: Transfer to SchoolDNS – it’s simple, more secure and fully funded
|
SchoolDNS helps you take control of your official school nz domain name. It ensures domains are automatically renewed each year – reducing the risk of outages that could affect your school’s website, email or online learning tools. Over 700 schools and kura are already using the Ministry-funded SchoolDNS service. Here’s why it’s a smart switch:
The Ministry funds the transfer and ongoing annual renewal cost. If your domain is managed elsewhere, now’s a great time to consider making the move. The process is simple, it takes just three steps, and ensures your school’s website and email services stay reliably online and easier to manage going forward. Find out more in our blog or reach out to Liverton directly at [email protected] or the Ministry of Education on digital.services@education. *The Ministry of Education funds one free domain name registration (but schools may apply for approval to register a second domain if required). |
