How we connect, protect and support schools and kura
We deliver a wide range of managed broadband, Wi-Fi and cybersecurity products and services, on behalf of the Ministry of Education to state and state-integrated schools and kura in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Connect
With our Managed Network, your school stays connected to the internet thanks to the Ministry of Education’s Te Mana Tūhono programme, ensuring a reliable and seamless connection for you and your ākonga.
By completing Equipment Replacement, you can future-proof your school’s network, giving your ākonga a smoother Wi-Fi experience.
Between March 2025 and July 2026 we’re also upgrading the Managed Network which involves replacing your school’s firewall before it reaches end-of-life.
Protect
Our Internet Safety & Security Services ensure you have a baseline level of protection, including a Firewall, Web Filtering, DDoS protection, DNS Threat protection, and SafeSearch.
Our Security team provide expert advice on how you can reduce the risk of any identified threats and vulnerabilities. We also monitor your network and can guide you through a cybersecurity incident.
Protect student and staff data with Secure Access, and strengthen your defense against email-based threats using Email Protection.
Support
Whether a quick query or a tricky technical one, we have the right support ready to help. You’ll have access to a wide range of content, including blog articles, our Support Hub, and direct support from a dedicated School Relationship Manager. Our Customer Support team is just a phone call away whenever you need assistance.
In addition, MyN4L, our self-service platform, simplifies managing your school’s online environment. With smart and simple tools, you can take control of your network and make your daily tasks easier.

Other useful information
- Most of our services are fully funded for all state and state-integrated schools and kura, except for the school’s contribution of $2.50 per student per year to be a part of the Te Mana Tūhono programme, which is payable directly to the Ministry. If your school chooses to engage your own IT provider, any associated cost will need to be covered by your school.
