The outage has cleared and we have confirmed service with some schools, our monitoring shows they appear to be working as normal.

Engineers are on site and advise the repair is expected to be completed this evening. While we do not have an estimated time to resolve we anticipate service will be restored before the start of the school day tomorrow.

We have confirmed that this incident has been generated by a fibre cut near Wanaka. Engineers are enroute. No estimated time to resolve as yet.

We are aware of a disruption to internet service for schools in the central Otago region (including Queenstown, Wanaka and Cromwell). Our engineers are investigating the fault and we will update this website as more information comes to light.
