Update 11 December: Please see this Support Hub article that provides a temporary workaround for this issue. Be aware that before starting this process you’ll need to contact N4L support for the PSK and Server IP address. You can get in touch by calling 0800 LEARNING.

Original Update: We’ve become aware of an issue that has impacted our Remote Access service (if provided via FortiClient) when Apple Mac devices have been updated to the latest operating system, ‘macOS Big Sur’.

We’re currently working with Fortinet on a solution and we’ll provide an update to let you know once this has been resolved.

In the meantime, we recommend advising any school staff who have our Remote Access setup on a Mac device to delay updating their operating system until we’ve confirmed the solution.

If staff have already updated to macOS Big Sur and need to use Remote Access, give our Helpdesk a call on 0800 LEARNING and we’ll be able to implement a temporary workaround for you.
