We have been informed that the work on the damaged fibre has been completed and the issue has now been resolved.

We have had indication from our supplier that resolution will be unlikely by the end of the school day today. We will continue to monitor and provide updates as we receive them.
Update: 1/12: 9.55am
Work has commenced this morning to repair fibre that has been damaged at multiple points due to lightening strikes.
Update: 1/12: 6.20am
Engineers have identified the issue and have been onsite working towards a resolution. Due to poor weather, work was stopped for the evening and will resume this morning

We are aware of and investigating a current network event causing loss of internet service for schools in and around Taumarunui
Our engineers are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and we will update this page as we get more information.
