On 27 May 2022, a zero-day vulnerability was identified relating to Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool (MSDT) in Windows. This vulnerability is critical as it can enable remote code execution, allowing malicious actors to exploit the vulnerability. This means attackers could run code and gain unauthorised access to install programs and view, change or delete data. They can also cause further damage by creating new user accounts.

Currently there are no available security patches released by Microsoft, however there are temporary workarounds to protect yourself from this vulnerability. We will continue to provide updates here as more information becomes available.
