Update 4pm: Service has been restored to some areas however, there is still work continuing and we will continue to provide further updates as the work continues.
Update 1.30pm: Repairs are currently ongoing and we expect the work to be completed by approximately 3pm today.
Original Update 9.15am: We are aware of dual fibre cuts affecting schools in the lower South Island. These are due to the adverse weather conditions and flooding in the area.
Chorus technicians are currently working to repair the cuts. We will continue to provide updates as we have them.
