We’ve been made aware of a Ransomware email currently making the rounds and informing recipients that their technology has been compromised, with a demand for bitcoin payment. This email is a scam and should be reported to Netsafe.
We recommend that if you receive such an email, you consult with your ICT provider and contact Netsafe in the first instance.
